EMVA Appoints New GM
The European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) has appointed Thomas Lübkemeier as general manager. He replaces Cor Maas, who served as interim GM from July to December.
Lübkemeier joined EMVA in 2008 and was responsible for a machine vision system and solution provider in Germany. He has founded and directed sales organizations in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North and South America. In Germany, he managed international sales departments and was invloved in key accounting and product management.
More recently, Lübkemeier has provided consultancy and executive search services for local and international EMVA clients.
His machine vision industry experience will help to further EMVA’s growth, President Toni Ventura-Traveset said.
Founded in May 2003, EMVA promotes the development and use of machine vision technology and supports the interests of its more than 130 members.
