Pyreos Expands Sales Team
Next-generation infrared sensor products supplier Pyreos has completed the first stage of its overseas global expansion with the appointments of Jeff Gray as vice president of worldwide sales and Roy Goodloe as USA sales director.
The sales team expansion into the US follows the appointment of Howard Ford as Pyreos chairman, and capitalizes on the growing interest in the company’s miniature thin-film sensor arrays for mobile devices.
Gray brings to the new role more than 20 years of commercial business experience, having served as an executive member of several startup companies, including Glonav, Chipidea and On-Ramp Wireless. He also has worked for ST Microelectronics and IBM.
“I am looking forward to working with the team in Edinburgh to exploit the market opportunities our sensor products uniquely enable, and develop our sales channels and partnership program worldwide,” Gray said.
Pyreos, a spinout of Siemens Technology Accelerator, was founded in 2007 by entrepreneurs Jeff Wright, Carsten Giebeler and Scott Freeborn.
