Asylum Research Hires Scientist for AFM Research
Asylum Research, an Oxford Instruments Co., hired Florian Johann as an atomic force microscopy (AFM) applications scientist.
Johann, based in the Mannheim, Germany office, will support customers throughout Germany and continental Europe. His background is in materials science.
“Our goal is to expand our scientific staff in the region to provide the best, most comprehensive customer service, support and accessibility to our customers,” said Asylum Research President Roger Proksch.
The AFM company has subsidiaries in Germany, the UK and Taiwan. Its product line of scanning probe and atomic force microscopes includes the Cypher and MFP-3D and is suitable for a variety of materials and bioscience applications.
