UKIVA Members Out in Force for Total 2013

Nearly 40 percent of UKIVA (UK Industrial Vision Association) members have committed to exhibiting at the 2013 Total Processing and Packaging Show, which will be held June 4-6.

The commitment is in response to the increasing importance of industrial vision in processing and packaging applications.

Total 2013 will feature “people looking for vision technology components to use in their own products or plants; people looking for system integrators or consultants to help them solve their vision applications and installations, and people who will be looking for complete processing or packaging systems that may very well have a vision system built into it,” said UKIVA Chairman Mark Williamson.

Vision technology and equipment at the show will cover applications ranging from the measurement of product and components during the manufacturing process to the inspection of the integrity of packaging to the reading and verification of print, bar codes and labels.

Exhibiting UKIVA members will include Alrad Imaging, Clearview Imaging, Cognex, Leuze Electronic, Olmec, Omron, Sick, Stemmer Imaging and UPM Conveyors.
