Gooch & Housego Launches Unit in Japan

Gooch & Housego plc of Ilminster, England, has opened a sales office in Nagoya, Japan, under the management of optics sector veteran Masashi Wada. Gooch & Housego Japan KK is the result of 25 years of business in Japan across various market sectors with the assistance of distribution partners. The company, established with financial support and assistance from the Japan External Trade Organization and the Greater Nagoya Initiative Center, will continue to work with its distribution partners in Japan, with the local office offering support to grow new business. Gooch & Housego supplies optical components, assemblies and subsystems.
