Melles Griot Names Director of Global Prod Management

Michael Tenalio has been named director of global product management for the Melles Griot Optical Systems Group, parent company Idex Optics & Photonics announced Tuesday.

Tenalio will focus his efforts on growing the company’s business and customer base in the life sciences, semiconductor, industrial, and safety and security markets.

Tenalio previously was the vice president of product and business development for InfiMed/Varian, managing new business development in Asia and Europe.

Melles Griot manufactures and supplies optical components and systems. Its Optical Systems Group, headquartered in Rochester, also has design and manufacturing capabilities in Japan and Korea (See: Melles Griot Opens New Tokyo Office).
