Noble Industries Increases Laser-Cutting Capacity
Metal fabrication company Noble Industries Inc. has added a two-laser Mazak flexible manufacturing system (FMS) to its line of laser-cutting products.
The FMS automatically transports, positions and cuts raw material loaded into the tower, then stacks the finished product. It runs unattended, moving from one nest to another without additional setup, and offers increased laser processing time and productivity, said Brenda Snyder, vice president of sales.
The company’s lineup of metal fabricators includes four Mazak 4000 W laser-cutting machines, a Mazak 2500 W laser and a Mazak 1000 laser. The systems can perform 3-D cutting for countersinking holes or cutting tubes.
