IR-Corrected Mini Lenses

Marshall Electronics has launched a line of 2-MP IR-corrected miniature lenses for fixed-focus near-UV, visible and near-IR day/night imaging applications and for those requiring several light sources.

In the V-4702.9 and V-4704.0 models, IR correction allows the lenses to pick up detailed images in virtual darkness. Without the correction, the lens focus would shift as light changed from day to night, or from visible to infrared wavelengths. The lenses maintain a fixed-focus position from the near-UV (400 nm) to the near-IR (1000 nm).

Built with glass optics and anodized aluminum housings, the lenses feature an M12 mount and are compatible with any camera incorporating Omnivision OV2715 2-MP 1/2.7-in. or Sony IMX036 3.23-MP 1/2.8-in. sensors.

The lenses are suitable for machine vision, security, automation and process applications.
