JML Optical Launches Rapid Prototyping Service
JML Optical Industries has launched a rapid prototyping capability for custom optical assemblies and components. Named QuickTurn Optics, it allows the components to be delivered in three to four weeks.
“Time to market is an increasingly critical success factor for many of our customers,” said JML Optical President and CEO Bob Bicksler. “Our goal in making the substantial investments in people and equipment required to make QuickTurn Optics a reality is to increase the competitiveness of our customers in their respective markets.”
The proprietary QuickTurn Optics has been used to fabricate products ranging from a 10-element assembly, to single-element lenses and mirrors in quantities from four to 25 units.
