KMSA Selling Instrument Systems’ Light Measurement Tools
Konica Minolta Sensing Americas (KMSA) Inc. is now selling Instrument Systems GmbH's light measurement products in North America, the company announced.
The deal, effective Sept. 16, is a result of Konica Minolta Optics Inc.'s 2012 acquisition of the Munich-based Instrument Systems, which makes optical test and measurement instruments including spectrometers, imaging photometers and colorimeters, goniophotometers and integrating spheres.
The additional products further expand KMSA's measurement capabilities from the ultraviolet to the near-infrared, the company said.
"Konica Minolta Sensing holds leading market share in the display measurement industry. We are now able to enter new markets and expand our reach, offering customers an even broader product line in light and display industries, with a strong presence in high-end markets," said KMSA President Hal Yamazaki.
