Inrad Optics Hires Suro as Operations VP
Optical materials grower and fabricator Inrad Optics has appointed optics and photonics industry veteran Jose Suro as vice president of operations at its Northvale facility, the company said recently.
Suro, founder of precision optics machine shop Aries Precision Products and a former employee of Qioptiq Imaging Solutions, has more than 25 years of manufacturing, engineering, sales and executive leadership experience in the optics and photonics industry, Inrad said. He will be responsible for the optical manufacturing, engineering and production control at the Northvale facility.
"Jose's deep operational expertise and exceptional track record over his years in the Rochester, N.Y., photonics manufacturing community speaks for itself," said Inrad Optics President and CEO Amy Eskilson. "I am confident that Jose's results-driven approach will translate to organizational improvements quite quickly."
Suro has a master of science in management from Roberts Wesleyan College and a bachelor's in business and management from Medaille College.
