Richardson Gratings has named Pro-Lite Technology Ltd. as distributor for its diffraction grating products in the UK and Ireland.

Cranfield, England-based Pro-Lite was founded in 2002 and serves academic and industrial customers in the optics and photonics market by providing instruments for measuring light and the optical properties of materials, lasers and related equipment, optomechanics and positioning equipment, optics and optical materials, and software tools for enhancing photonic productivity.

Richardson Gratings, a Newport Corp. business, designs and manufactures standard and custom diffraction gratings for use in analytical instrumentation, lasers and tunable light sources, fiber optic telecommunications networks and photolithographic systems, as well as for researchers, astronomers and educators.
