Enablence Tech Names New CEO

Enablence Technologies Inc., a supplier of photonic and optical components and subsystems for access, metro and long-haul markets, has named Evan Chen its new chief executive officer.

Chen, who will replace outgoing CEO Jacob Sun, has served as the company’s chief strategic officer since last year. He has many years of experience in the industry, namely in the area of integrated photonics.

Chen plans to continue with Enablence’s planar lightwave circuit technology as a photonic integration platform, in addition to assisting with development of products.
