Photonics Industries Names Director of New China Branch

Photonics Industries International Inc. recently opened a branch office in Shenzhen, China, and has named Dong Cheng sales director there.

Cheng has technical sales and marketing experience, first as sales manager at Shenzhen EDAN Instruments Inc. and later as the international sales director at Shenzhen Everbright Laser (GD Laser).

Cheng has a bachelor's degree in aircraft design and engineering from the China Civil Aviation University and a master's degree in international management from the University of Exeter in England.

Photonics Industries already has a branch office in Suzhou, China, as well as subsidiaries in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. The company manufactures nanosecond and picosecond diode-pumped solid-state lasers for industrial and scientific applications.
