ProLabs Names Head of Technology

Giacomo Losio has been named head of technology at data communications firm ProLabs.

Losio will lead efforts to develop the company’s technology road map and compatible optical fiber technologies. He will report to Stephen Burke, vice president of sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Losio has more than 14 years of design experience and eight years of project management experience with Cisco Systems and the Transceiver Module Group. He holds seven international patents.

This news follows other appointments at ProLabs, including Burke’s, as well as Ward Williams as chief commercial officer and Stephen Crick as U.K. account manager.
