Yenista Opens US Office

Yenista Optics has opened a sales support and repair center in Newbury Park, Calif.

The office will support Yenista’s test equipment for semiconductor manufacturers developing silicon photonic and dense wavelength division multiplexing communications technology.

The office will be headed by Lawrence van der Vegt, who has 25 years of experience in the fiber optics industry. He previously held senior positions with Ando, Rifocs and 3M Photodyne.

Yenista Optics designs and manufactures fiber optic test and measurement equipment for applications from high-bandwidth communications to scientific research.
