Sydor Instruments President Recognized for Leadership
Michael Pavia, president of Sydor Instruments, has been recognized for business leadership by three industry groups.
The Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster and New York Photonics named Pavia its 2014 entrepreneur of the year. This award acknowledges Pavia for demonstrating creativity, innovative spirit and drive in pursuit of creating an industry-leading company in the optics, photonics and imaging industry.
He was also recognized by Digital Rochester’s Greater Rochester Excellence and Achievement in Technology (GREAT) program, receiving its Visionary Leadership award. GREAT recognizes entrepreneurial spirit by highlighting organizations and individuals on the cutting edge of technological innovation and implementation.
