OptoGroup Acquires Alliance Vision
Optomechanical components manufacturer OptoGroup has become a majority shareholder in Alliance Vision of Montelimar, France.
The acquisition is retroactive to Jan. 1.
Markus Riedi has been named CEO of Alliance Vision and will be responsible for finance and strategy. Frederic Nicaise remains responsible for local day-to-day operations, with a focus on sales and business development activities within France.
Alliance Vision serves OEMs and end users in France in the fields of industry, medicine and research, specializing in optical measurement and analysis, sorting, quality control and production automation.
OptoGroup said Alliance Vision’s customer customers will remain the same, and that the company’s cameras, optics, illumination and software product lines will be maintained.
