VLC Photonics Offers Wafer-Design Services

VLC Photonics is now providing the multiproject wafer (MPW) standard design services at fixed costs.

The company is offering access to MPW shuttle runs on different generic technology manufacturing platforms, such as silicon-on-insulator, programmable logic controller (PLC), TriPleX and indium phosphide.

VLC performs optical integration, including photonic integrated circuit (PIC) design or in-house chip characterization and testing.
