Vision Engineering, RSS Logistics Chosen as Navy Prime Contractors
Two client companies of the University of Central Florida’s
Business Incubation Program have been selected as prime contractors in a highly secure online community of U.S. businesses qualified to service Navy and Marine Corps programs.
Vision Engineering Solutions LLC and RSS Logistics were recently notified they rank among the 2400 U.S. businesses permitted to bid on annual contracts worth an estimated $5.3 through the Seaport-E program.
A developer of electro-optical sensors for tracking and data collection, Vision Engineering is already doing work for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Its Seaport-E classification provides the opportunity to be a prime contractor on additional work for Dahlgren, as well as other Naval commands.
Since opening an operations facility at Kennedy Space Center in 2012, Vision Engineering has grown from 7 to 17 specialized technology workers.
RSS Logistics provides manufacturing of fiber optic cable assemblies and other services.
