Deverell Named VP of Finance, Administration at Sydor Instruments

Sydor Instruments LLC has named Scott Deverell vice president of finance and administration.

In this newly created position, Deverell will provide financial leadership for the company, which operates in the U.S. and U.K.

Deverell most recently was division president for Stewart Title Insurance Co. and has also held leadership positions at Choice One Communications Inc. and PSC Inc. He has a master's degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

Sydor Instruments develops custom diagnostics, ultrafast imaging systems, and ballistic imaging and test systems for applications in science and industry, specializing in streak cameras and single-photon applications.
