Doyle Named Managing Director at Trumpf UK
Annette Doyle will take on the role of managing director of Trumpf Ltd., the U.K. subsidiary of the Trumpf GmbH & Co. KG, starting July 1.
She succeeds Scott Simpson, who will leave Trumpf after more than 20 years to pursue personal projects.
Doyle is currently assembly manager for Trumpf Inc. in Farmington, Conn. The department manufactures 350 machines per year, and Doyle's production planning and lean manufacturing initiatives enabled Trumpf to increase production and quality goals during the economic recovery, the company said.
In her new role as managing director, Doyle will be responsible for all business operations in the U.K., including customer service, technical training, product sales and applications.
Doyle has a bachelor's degree in business administration and mechanical engineering and a master's degree in technology management.
Trumpf develops fabricating machinery and industrial lasers for flexible sheet metal processing.
