Amada Miyachi America Takes Over South American Branch

Amada Miyachi America Inc. has taken over Amada Miyachi do Brasil Ltda.’s management, sales and service in South America.

Amada Miyachi America manufactures equipment and systems for laser welding, marking and cutting, as well as resistance welding, hot bar reflow soldering and bonding. It provides products for the medical device, battery, electric vehicle and solar industries, as well as the global electronics, automotive and general industrial markets.

Administration, business control and support will be moved to Amada Miyachi America.

"The revised Amada Miyachi do Brasil structure will provide more flexibility with a much reduced cost base, allowing us to maintain and improve business in the region and support our customers."
