Labor Secretary, Legislators Visit LNA Laser Technology
U.S. Secretary of Labor Tom Perez visited LNA Laser Technology LLC recently for discussions on paid leave, a tour of the facility and a demonstration of robotic laser marking.

Perez was visiting Rhode Island as part of the
Lead on Leave tour, where government officials travel around the country to meet with employers, workers, government officials and other stakeholders to highlight the importance of paid leave.
Hosted by U.S. Rep. David Cicilline, the tour was also attended by U.S. Rep. Jim Langevin; U.S. Sen. Jack Reed; state Sen. Gayle Goldin; Department of Labor and Training Director Scott Jensen; Patrick Quinn, executive vice president of the Service Employees International Union District 1199; and George Nee, president of the Rhode Island AFL-CIO, a labor federation.
LNA Laser supplies fiber and solid-state lasers for materials processing applications including marking, welding and cutting.
