Laser Components Opens Pyro Group Facility

Laser Components USA Inc., part of the international Laser Components Group, has announced the opening of its new pyroelectric detector production facility.

One year after acquiring the manufacturing site and the staff of Microwatt Applications LLC, Laser Components has increased personnel and relocated its Pyro Group to a new production building, which offers 500 percent more available space.

"This is how it should continue to go," said Laser Components Group President Patrick Paul. "The first pyroelectric detectors have reached selected customers."

"Not only do we have high standards, but our customers have expressed concrete thoughts on future products as well," said Pyro Group General Manager Alan Doctor. "Naturally, we aim to meet these demands — and as quickly as possible. We expect to surpass the current state of the art."
