Zecotek Poised for Patent

Zecotek Photonics Inc., a developer of laser, imaging and 3D display products, has announced a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent Office for the company’s rear-projection 3D displays.

“This notice of allowance covers new advancements in our 3D display technologies aimed at scaling our 3D displays to very large sizes for commercial applications,” said Dr. A.F. Zerrouk, charman, president and CEO of Zecotek. “This new advancement will be key to 3D technology used in digital signage, and passive and active advertising systems used in walkways, shopping malls, immersive environments and simulations, where there is substantial demand representing ready opportunities.”

The 3D display technologies allow for very large formats by miniaturizing the beam-shifting optical components and separating them from the actual 3D screen.
