NIST to Evaluate Argolight Fluorescence Calibration Sources
Fluorescence technology from Argolight SA aimed at improving the reproducibility of optical microscopy measurements is set to undergo evaluation by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Argolight slides feature the same dimensions as standard microscope slides and can be used to monitor the evolution of fluorescence systems. Courtesy of Argolight.
NIST will assess whether the technology can address issues linked to the standardization of fluorescence-based systems. Coinciding with several purchase contracts from the National Institutes of Health, this collaboration concludes more than a year of communication and exchanges between NIST and Argolight.
NIST is a nonregulatory federal agency that aims to promote innovation and competition the U.S. by advancing measurement science, standards and technology.
Argolight produces calibration solutions for fluorescence systems in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic and biotech industries. For more information, visit
