Marisa Edmund Named VP of Sales at Family Optics Company
Edmund Optics Inc. has appointed Marisa Edmund, granddaughter of founder Norman Edmund, as its executive vice president of global sales and marketing.
Marisa Edmund began her career at the company in 1998 as director of human resources. Subsequently she became director of North American major accounts, managing the company's largest military, medical and manufacturing clients. Most recently she served as executive vice president of marketing and communications.
She has a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from Georgetown University and a master's degree in business studies from Stockton University.
"Marisa's proven leadership abilities and enviable track record of successfully implementing large-scale sales and marketing initiatives means that we are ideally positioned to meet the evolving demands of the global optics marketplace," said Samuel Sadoulet, Edmund Optics' president and chief operating officer.
Edmund Optics supplies lenses, coatings, imaging systems and optomechanical equipment for R&D, electronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical and military markets.
