Flexbright Partners with NNCRM for LED Project
LED lighting manufacturer Flexbright Oy has partnered with the Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials Centre of the Republic of Mordovia (NNCRM) to develop LED foils.
The foils can be coupled with sensors and controlled wirelessly. They are developed for placement in walls, furniture and structures, as well as indoor and outdoor advertisements, and allow the lighting environment to be controlled as part of overall building automation.
The technology is based on roll-to-roll mass production, high illumination power, Internet-of-Things properties, low energy consumption and an ultrathin, flexible structure <1 mm in thickness. The foil has a high resistance to heat and humidity.
NNCRM is part of Russia's state capital investment company, Rusnano's Fund for Infrastructure and Education Programs.
