Alluxa Expands Optics Manufacturing Facility

Alluxa Inc., a provider of hard-coated optical filters, has expanded its manufacturing facility by 50 percent.

The location now houses 10 identical plasma deposition machines and a larger area for coating, glass fabrication and assembly.

The company cited 10 percent average growth per quarter for the past twelve quarters as a driver in its expansion.

"In line with our copy-exact philosophy, our engineers have designed and built all of our plasma deposition machines, including the newest ones, to have the ability to produce all of our products," said Peter Egerton, Alluxa's executive vice president of business development.
