Opsens Appoints George Quinoy VP, GM of US Sales & Ops
Fiber optic sensing technology firm Opsens Inc. has appointed technology sales veteran George Quinoy vice president and general manager of U.S. commercial sales and operations.
He will be responsible for the U.S. commercialization of Opsens’ products intended to measure fractional flow reserve (FFR) in interventional cardiology. Opsens’ FFR Products, the OptoWire and OptoMonitor, are designed to optimize the diagnostic and guide treatment in patients with coronary artery disease.
Quinoy spent 12 years in senior leadership positions including president of U.S. and APLAC
commercial sales, and executive vice president of global sales and operations with Volcano Corp., acquired by Royal Philips 2014. Prior to Volcano, he served as vice president of sales for Jomed Inc., AVE Inc., Medtronic AVE Inc. and ACS/Guidant. He holds a bachelor’s in public relations from the University of Florida.
