Seth Coe-Sullivan Appointed Luminit VP of Technology

Light technology developer Luminit LLC has appointed Seth Coe-Sullivan as its vice president of technology.

Coe-Sullivan will be in charge of transitioning Luminit’s existing holographic technologies into commercial products and developing new technologies for commercial and government applications.

“I’m looking forward to my new role because it combines my passions for technology and business development, matching complex ideas with new products in exciting industries that can benefit from our core technologies in holography and lasers,” Coe-Sullivan said.

An expert in quantum dot materials and devices for solid-state lighting and displays, Coe-Sullivan received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from MIT and holds numerous patents related to quantum dots and OLEDs. Coe-Sullivan’s doctoral thesis led to the formation of QD Vision Inc., a developer of quantum dot display technology, where he remains a board member, science advisor and chief technology officer emeritus.
