Amela Wilson Appointed Elbit Sensors Division VP
Elbit Systems of America LLC has appointed Amela Wilson vice president of its sensors and fire control solutions division.
Wilson comes to Elbit from New York City-based L-3 Aerospace Systems, where she was sector vice president in charge of program management and the platform and logistics sectors, responsible for the execution of strategic, high-revenue and high-visibility programs. A trained electrical engineer, she holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Texas A&M. She also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
In her new role, Wilson will build relationships with customers and industry partners to support Elbit’s portfolio of electro-optical and electronic systems technology.
