Ulis Sales Show Double-Digit Increase
Thermal image sensor manufacturer Ulis has ended 2015 with a 20 percent increase in volume sales over 2014.
Continued sustainable growth in traditional surveillance, thermography and defense markets, new outdoor leisure equipment customers, and several contracts drove the bulk of the company’s €48 million (about $52.3 million) activity in 2015. Volume sales climbed to 94,286 in 2015, up from 79,350 the previous year.
“Our customer base grew in 2015. The price/performance of our complete portfolio of Pico Gen2 products made a significant impact; they struck the right chord with camera makers and system developers across many market applications, ”said Jean-François Delepau, managing director of Ulis.
Ulis produces thermal image sensors, enabling all-weather and night vision, intrusion detection, and temperature measurement for commercial and military applications.
