Teledyne to Acquire Quantum Data
Teledyne Technologies Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Quantum Data Inc., headquartered in Elgin, Ill. Quantum Data provides electronic test & measurement instrumentation and is a market leader in video protocol analysis test tools used to troubleshoot data communication systems and test device interoperability, compliance and interference.
“The acquisition of Quantum Data will further strengthen recognition of Teledyne LeCroy as a leader in protocol test solutions,” said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and CEO of Teledyne. “Teledyne LeCroy is a market leader in protocol test tools for well-known serial data standards like USB, PCI Express and SATA. Through Quantum Data and Frontline Test Equipment, another recent acquisition, we will also provide products serving HDMI, SDI, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.”
Teledyne Technologies is a leading provider of sophisticated instrumentation, digital imaging products and software, aerospace and defense electronics, and engineered systems.
