Corning, OLEDWorks Announces OLED Lighting Contest, Deadline June 30

NineSigma Inc., acting as innovation facilitator on behalf of Corning Inc. and OLEDWorks LLC, invites design proposals for OLED lighting applications that integrate OLED technology into functional luminaires and other practical lighting applications.

The contest seeks creative lighting designs that highlight the technology’s special features such as thin form factors, low-weight lighting elements, cool-to-touch surfaces and high light quality. The design cannot be readily executed with conventional or LED light sources.

Up to five winners will be awarded cash prizes of $10,000 each, with the potential for further opportunities such as prototype fabrication. The submission deadline is June 30, with the finalists being announced in October.
