Cross River Fiber Selects MRV Communications for Dark Fiber Network

MRV Communications Inc. has been selected by fiber optics and telecommunications service provider Cross River Fiber to light its dark fiber network.

By leveraging MRV’s packet and optical technology, Cross River Fiber will transform from a dark fiber provider to a managed network provider. MRV’s OptiDriver optical transport solution will interconnect its footprint with third-party providers to expand capacity between New Jersey and New York City. The OptiSwitch Carrier Ethernet platform will also be deployed to enable managed connectivity for carrier access and targeted enterprise vertical sectors.
