Wiesinger Joins MVTec as New Sales Director

MVTec Software GmbH has named Torsten Wiesinger its new sales director.

Wiesinger will oversee global sales activities, specifically managing the company’s MERLIC software sales, and supervise sales activities for HALCON, MVTec’s comprehensive standard software for machine vision. With this new hire, MVTec will underscore its course for global growth and focus on machine vision as a future-oriented technology in a wide range of industrial and nonindustrial applications.

Wiesinger’s previous international sales experience as CEO of IDS Imaging will help him further promote global growth and future-oriented machine vision technology in both industrial and nonindustrial applications.

MVTec is a manufacturer of standard software for machine vision that is used in the semiconductor industry, as well as web inspection, quality control and inspection applications in medicine, 3D vision and surveillance, among others.
