Berliner Glas Appoints Demandt as COO

Technical glass developer Berliner Glas Group has appointed Acis Demandt as its chief operations officer.

Demandt will be responsible for the supply chain management and production in the operations division of Berliner Glas and all of its facilities. He brings experience in both national and international facilities, with fluency in Chinese, Japanese and English.

As a member of the executive board, Demandt will join CEO Andreas Nitze, Chief Financial Officer David Schwem, and Chief Technology Officer Volker Schmidt, in their commercial responsibility to the company.

The Berliner Glas Group develops, produces and integrates optics, mechanics and electronics into customer solutions for the semiconductor, laser, space, medical, metrology and display industries.
