Castner Appointed Global Sales VP of Circadian Light
Medical science technology provider Circadian Light has appointed John Castner as its vice president of global sales to lead the lighting fixture product launch into industries with at-risk, 24/7 workforces.
“I am excited to join Circadian Light and have the opportunity to help shape the future of lighting,” Castner said. “Their world-class medical research, protected by a robust global IP portfolio, has identified the exact spectra for optimizing human performance and productivity during the day and protecting workers from the harmful effects of conventional LED and fluorescent light exposure at night.”
Castner brings 30 years of lighting and LED executive sales management experience to the company. He was previously the vice president of global accounts at industrial LED lighting developer Dialight, and has held sales management positions with Sylvania, Hubbell and Amtech. Castner holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and a bachelor’s degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
Circadian Light is a developer of natural light systems that regulate bioactive blue wavelengths of light.
