Biotek’s Alpert Appointed to Vermont Governor’s Modernization Initiative
The vice president of life sciences instrumentation developer Biotek Instruments Inc., Adam Alpert, has been named a member of Vermont Gov. Phil Scott’s Government Modernization and Efficiency Team.
The team, consisting of 12 individuals from the public and private sectors, will advise on strategic initiatives towards improving efficiencies and outcomes throughout Vermont’s state government. Ultimately, the team’s recommendations will support the governor’s goals of making the state “more affordable and strengthening the economy in the modern era.”
“To the extent that we can grow the economy, make Vermont more affordable, and protect the most vulnerable; the prospect for healthy, prosperous Vermonters is much more likely to be realized,” Alpert said. “Personally, I can’t imagine a more satisfying effort.”
“I’m grateful to Adam for lending his time and expertise to my Government Modernization and Efficiency Team and for the work he and the team will be doing to bring state government into the twenty-first century to improve service and outcomes for Vermonters,” Gov. Scott said.
