Mathias Schindler Joins Toptica Photonics as VP of Production, Logistics

Laser developer Toptica Photonics AG has appointed Mathias Schindler as its new vice president of production and logistics.

Succeeding Walter Kraus, Schindler earned his Ph.D. in electronics engineering from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen and brings experience in microelectronics, semiconductors and terahertz spectroscopy, along with 10 years of manufacturing experience at a manufacturer of high-precision industrial measurement devices.

”We are happy to include a dynamic and experienced new member in our management team who will direct our company to the next level of production expertise,” said Thomas Weber, president of Toptica’s executive board. “We thank Walter Kraus for his highly dedicated and competent contribution within the last 17 years. He was instrumental to Toptica’s successful growth story.”

Toptica Photonics develops, manufactures, services and distributes diode and fiber lasers and laser systems for scientific and industrial applications.
