Crowley’s Shelley Certified by AIA

Digital and analog film technology developer Crowley Co. has announced that its electronics engineer Xander Shelley passed the Automated Imaging Association’s (AIA’s) Certified Vision Professional (CVP) Advanced Level exam and is now one of 166 advanced-level certified individuals worldwide.

The CVP program is offered by AIA, the world's largest global vision and imaging trade group. AIA serves more than 330 member companies from 32 countries, including manufacturers of vision components and systems, system integrators, distributors, OEMs, end users, consulting firms, academic institutions and research groups directly involved with vision and imaging. Continuing education every three years is required to maintain certification.

Shelley works within Crowley’s Wicks and Wilson division in the U.K. He is part of the team tasked with the engineering, production and advancement of the MACHCAM 71-MP camera.

Crowley manufactures, distributes and services high-speed microfilm, microfiche, aperture card, book and document scanners, microfilm duplicators, film processors and micrographics equipment.
