Steiner Joins Kitco as GM
Wire and cable developer Marmon Aerospace & Defense LLC has announced that Marc Steiner has joined subsidiary Kitco Fiber Optics as general manager.
Steiner served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years in a number of key leadership roles, held a number of government positions integrating new technologies and owned his own business. The company cites his leadership, U.S. Department of Defense and entrepreneurial experiences as strengths to lead the company. Geoff Clark, current general manager of Kitco, will be retiring at the end of August.
"Geoff has done an outstanding job as the CEO of Kitco the past 15 years and was integral to establishing Kitco Fiber Optics as the harsh environment fiber optic experts for the defense industry,” said Timothy Grass, president of Marmon. “His efforts during the successful acquisition and transition to a Marmon company have positioned the company to provide increasing value to our customers. We thank Geoff and wish him all the best in retirement.”
Marmon designs and manufactures specialty wire and cable primarily for the aerospace and defense markets. Kitco is a provider of fiber optic connectorization products and consulting services for the military and commercial communications industry.
