3D-Micromac Celebrates 15 Years, Opens New Building

Laser micromachining technology developer 3D-Micromac AG has opened a new building in celebration of its 15th anniversary.

"We owe our company’s growth and success to our customers and partners who have relied on our expertise and performance right from the start,” said Tino Petsch, CEO of 3D-Micromac. “But such a successful development would not have been possible without the outstanding commitment and top efforts of all employees. That is why we are delighted to be able to celebrate the anniversary and opening of the new building together with our team.”

Innovative room and workplace concepts with communicative open space elements have been realized in the modern building. Conference areas and a customer application center are provided for customers, and attention was paid to maximum energy efficiency and utilization of natural resources. In addition to using a photovoltaic power generation system, an automatic ventilation system and heat pump system are also used, which are automatically used to heat or passively cool the building.

The company invested nearly €6 million ($7.1 million) into buildings and equipment. The number of employees, currently at 200, is expected to increase. 3D-Micromac develops processes, machinery and complete systems for laser micromachining.
