Huang Made GM of China for SPI Lasers
Fiber laser manufacturer SPI Lasers UK Ltd. has appointed Zack Huang as its general manager for China.
He replaces the outgoing general manager, John Chinn.
Huang will focus on developing growth across the country while ensuring customer service and support.
Huang was previously SPI Lasers’ China sales director. He brings experience in both American and Chinese industries including lasers and optics. He will report directly to CEO Thomas Fehn.
“Over the last five years, John has done a great job in setting up and growing the company, but as China continues to play a vital role in our expansion, it is evident that such a crucial position requires a person with a strong Chinese background and experience to fully deliver on our strategy of offering customers high-quality products backed by the very best levels of service and support,” Fehn said. “Moving Zack from his sales director role to general manager of China is key in establishing a business that is culturally relevant and will, in turn, allow us to offer our customers an enhanced overall experience of our products and service.”
SPI Lasers, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Trumpf Group, is a designer and manufacturer of fiber lasers for use in materials processing applications in a wide range of industries.
