Spectrolight Chooses Griot Group, Hass Technical Sales as Distributors

Optical and optomechanical component producer Spectrolight Inc. has chosen Griot Group as its exclusive sales representative for the western U.S. and Hass Technical Sales as their exclusive representative for the northeastern U.S.

Both representatives will be responsible for sales of the entire Spectrolight product line, including the company’s flexible wavelength selectors, broadband illumination sources, lightweight breadboards, spectrometers, fluorimeters and related photonic components and devices. They will support OEMs and sell directly to laboratory end users.

“Our products are technically sophisticated, and some, like our flexible wavelength selectors, bring completely new capabilities to the market,” said Cathy Fitzpatrick, vice president of sales and marketing at Spectrolight. “It’s essential that our sales representatives be able to support customers by understanding these capabilities in the context of diverse applications from life sciences through machine vision. Both the Griot Group and Hass combine strong technical backgrounds with many years of experience across a broad range of photonics applications. Spectrolight produces optical and optomechanical components for applications in microscopy, machine vision, hyperspectral imaging and general research.
