Giznick Appointed President of MidOpt

Optical filter developer Midwest Optical Systems Inc. (MidOpt) has appointed Mike Giznick, former vice president, as its president.

"This is an exciting time for MidOpt, and I am proud to be taking on the role as president," Giznik said. "MidOpt has transformed industrial imaging and in the past several years became the clear machine vision filter leader."

Before joining the MidOpt team in 2010, Giznick spent 15 years managing various material distribution businesses. He received his bachelor of science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and served four years in the U.S. Air Force.

MidOpt is a manufacturer of optical filters, lenses and accessories, stock and custom precision optical components and assemblies.
