Universal Laser Adds DuPont, Rogers Materials to Database
Laser material developer Universal Laser Systems Inc. has added DuPont and Rogers Corp. materials to its materials database, an extensive repository of laser material processing parameters for materials in the range of 10 to 500 W.
The DuPont and Rogers materials were specifically added for laser processing with the ULTRA and XLS platforms, suited for high-accuracy and precision laser cutting, laser ablation, and laser surface modification.
Laser processing notes describing the results of the laser-material interaction for these materials are also available in the Universal Laser Systems Materials Library on the company’s website to help potential customers explore the advantages of deploying laser technology within their manufacturing, R&D, and prototyping activities.
Universal Laser Systems is a manufacturer of laser material processing solutions.
