Microlaser and photonic integrated circuit developer Teem Photonics SA has appointed Pascal Langlois as chairman of its supervisory board.

“Teem Photonics has been very successfully repositioned in the past few years, and I look forward to support further developing its next steps and technological leadership, engineering expertise, and manufacturing capabilities,” Langlois said. “The industrial, life science, lidar, and datacoms market segments Teem Photonics is addressing based on its unique set of technologies are growing very fast, and there are numerous opportunities to further grow the company.”

With more than 25 years in senior management positions in the industry, Langlois brings extensive executive experience in leading international businesses in corporate transformations and developing, managing, and growing international high technology businesses in automotive, wireless communication, consumer, and industrial segments.

Most recently, Langlois was president and CEO of Tronics Microsystems. Prior to that, he was at ST-Ericsson, NXP, Philips Semiconductors BV, National Semiconductors, and VLSI Technology.

“We are delighted to bring onboard as chairman someone of the caliber of Pascal Langlois,” said Antoine Kevorkian, CEO and founder of Teem Photonics. “He has the experience we need to take advantage of the current photonics and laser market opportunities and support Teem Photonics to the next level of corporate transformation.”
